British Gas has lowered electricity prices by 10%, but does that make now the perfect time for consumers to switch? We've gone through the colder winter months and obviously those quarterly bills will be landing through your letter boxes fairly soon, and I expect that to be around 40%-50% of your annual bill, so it could be as high as £500 for the average customer.
